Private-label enquiry

One email with eight lines in it gets a price. One email that says "please send your best price for disposable towels" gets a question in return, and the exchange costs both sides a week. This page lists what the eight lines are.

What to send

Eight lines, and what each one decides

1 · Use
What the towel is used for — hair, beauty, spa service, guest amenity, gym, grooming, care. It decides the size and the pack before anything else.
2 · Market
The country it is sold into, and the channel: professional distribution, retail, hospitality supply, or e-commerce. It decides which documents and wording the pack needs.
3 · Quantity
First order, and the annual figure you expect. Private-label towels and bath towels typically start at 40,000 pieces per SKU.
4 · Material
The fiber and, for a blend, the ratio. "Viscose / Polyester" alone is not enough, because 70/30 and 80/20 behave differently.
5 · Size and GSM
Unfolded size, and the GSM you want. If you are unsure, say what the towel has to do and a range can be proposed.
6 · Texture and color
Plain, pearl, or EF; white, black, or another color. Color is confirmed per project against material and quantity.
7 · Pack
Folded bulk or individually sealed; pieces per pack, pieces per carton, and whether the pack carries print, a label, or a barcode.
8 · Terms
Destination port, trade term, target price if you have one, and any document, test, or environmental claim the market requires.

Anything you do not know yet can be left blank. A partial brief with the use and the market is still enough to reply to, and the specification can be built from there.
